Rescue on Mount Arreatīy stepping foot in the Frigid Highlands, you’d have already activated this quest. So keep that in mind if you're going for a completionist campaign. Similar to the Tools of the Trade quest back in Act I, the Siege on Harrogath quest will technically be incomplete until you use the free service offered to you as a reward. These stairs should lead you directly into the Frigid Highlands and the first area Waypoint of the Act. Instead, move north until you reach a set of stairs. Kill him but don't teleport immediately back to town. There isn't a particular strategy to defeat him he's essentially an enhanced version of an Overseer. Keep moving through the Bloody Foothills until you see a dozen siege mobs grouped up together near a vast platform-this is where you'll fight Shenk the Overseer. He shouldn't be a threat to you at all, especially if you're accompanied by a hireling and other barbarians you've helped along the way.
When you manage to pass the first section of the Bloody Foothills, there will be a narrow path where you'll encounter your first Super Unique of Act V named Dac Farren and his minions. You can destroy any catapults that you see as well. This is a great place to farm some gold if you need it.Head out of Harrogath and keep moving past the battles, help the barbarians here-they will move forward with you, absorbing incoming damage.
